tits and such

The first question, honestly, that I can think of is why exactly the performance is entitled “Rubber TIT.” The English language has so many colorful synonyms for what is really just a sac of fat surrounding a milk-producing organ. Specifically, I wonder if there’s any significance in why Tari chose the word “tit” as opposed to “breast” or “boob” or something more creative. Perhaps it’s purely because “tit” has a certain aesthetic quality to it; the word flies off the tongue like it’s been shot out of a cannon. “Tit” could also be a specific linguistic choice on the part of the artist.
